Unchanged lymph node question?
You're sure it's a lymph node and not a sebatious cyst? That is a cyst that is similar to a pimple but it just gets hard under the skin and doesn't resolve, resulting in a hard spot in the skin that can sometimes be a swollen little lump. You can get swollen nodes in your neck because the lymph drains through there ( the neck) back into the chest. If you have something that is causing irritation, it'll most likely cause some swelling. If you had some type of lymphoma and you had it for as long as you think you have, you'd most likely be symptomatic with other signs like maybe fever, exhaustion, or whatever. Speak to the doctor again if you really think it's an issue. They can do a series of blood tests to determine if it's cancer. I recently had to be tested for that myself because it's in my family and had something similar. Good luck.
